Since I moved here I found out that people of Southwest Indiana celebrate everything from fast cars to fine arts. Their local scene buzzes with the energy of the Indy 500, a legendary race that fuels this community. It also thrives on a rich arts scene, with events like the Indy Jazz Fest and the Indianapolis International Film Festival.

Want a taste of local flavor? Try iconic spots like St. Elmo’s or Bluebeard, historic Soldiers and Sailors Monument to cheering on the Pacers or the Colts.
