We provide the necessary tools and services from data analysis to incentives assistance, and our sites and building database with thematic mapping and layering provides up-to-date and accurate regional information. The Economic Development Coalition of Southwest Indiana delivers customized proposals for each project as well all doing them quickly and confidentially. And, we’re really creative when putting deals together, too.
Relationship building is our thing; and in Southwest Indiana we know just about everybody. We work in collaborative partnership with the local economic development organizations from Gibson, Posey, Vanderburgh and Warrick Counties along with the City of Evansville—Indiana’s third largest city and metropolitan area. Our public and private leadership supports the region’s economic development efforts and is the driving force, with The Coalition, to build a better economy for Southwest Indiana. We’re one stop with lots of business partners at your service.
Since 2006, The Coalition—with it’s partners, have provided creative solutions for business attraction and retention by helping companies such as AT&T, Mead Johnson, Toyota, Toyota Boshoku, Midwest Fertilizer Corporation and Berry Plastics to find, grow and expand their Southwest Indiana homes. These efforts have cultivated over $4.1 billion in investments and brought over 6,500 jobs to our economy. Through its Community Development division, The Coalition has also helped to shape a better Southwest Indiana by securing nearly $74 million in public and private funds for infrastructure and quality of place projects. Whether it is a new community center or expansion of a sewer system, The Coalition helps to pave the economic development pathway for a transformational future.
