PGP International, a leading manufacturer and supplier of high protein and grain crisps for the cereal, energy and the nutritional bar industry, will build a state-of-the-art 70,000-square-foot facility in Vanderburgh County to produce rice-based products. The facility will be an expansion to specialty business and a back up to the California plant reaching more customers in the Midwest and Eastern states as well as having a strategic distribution location. Graduates of food science, manufacturing and engineering at nearby universities and colleges will be utilized in PGP’s workforce.
