State, Local Leaders to Cut the Ribbon on Regional Cities Initiative Project in Poseyville

Indiana Economic Development (IEDC) President Elaine Bedel and Southwest Indiana Regional Development Authority Chair Beth McFadin Higgins will join members of the Poseyville Medical Foundation tomorrow at 3:00 p.m. CST to cut the ribbon on the new Regional Medical Center in Poseyville. In February, the IEDC announced approval of Regional Cities Initiative funding to support the construction of the Regional Medical Center, which will house two family practice physicians. Located near I-64, the medical center will enhance the region’s quality of place by ensuring convenient access to medical treatment and will expand access to quality health care for rural residents in southwest Indiana.

Note: Following remarks, the ribbon cutting will take place across the street at the Regional Medical Center at 40 W. Fletchall St.
