The Community Development division will be hosting a series of one-on-one meetings with Wayne Dubble, regional representative from the USDA Department along with local officials to discuss how to establish a community revolving loan fund. The fund can be used to finance a variety of projects including providing zero interest loans for projects that will create and retain employment in rural areas; assist with financing business and economic development activity to create or retain jobs in disadvantaged and remote communities; and, promote sustainable economic development in rural communities with exceptional needs through provision of training and technical assistance.
