Wathen joined the Economic Development Coalition of Southwest Indiana in March 2007. Previously, he was Executive Director for the Perry County Development Corporation; Public Affairs Manager for the Greater Louisville Economic Development Partnership; and managed the Greater Louisville Media Information Center. A graduate of Indiana State University, Wathen is accredited in public relations by the Public Relations Society of America. He is past president and served on the board of directors of the Indiana Economic Development Association.
Debra came to the organization in December 2006. Previously, she worked with Foresight Development Corporation in Tell City, Indiana; and founded and operated Vizions, LLC, a community development corporation in Santa Claus, Indiana, for ten years. Debra is certified by the Kentucky Department of Local Government, and is a Certified Grant Administrator with the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs; she has taught grant certification classes for that office. She serves on the State Committee of Grant Administrators.
Nancy joined the organization in October 2006. Previously, she was Economic Development Specialist for Vision-e, the Evansville Regional Economic Development Coalition. She also worked in the Industrial and Economic Development Department of Southern Indiana Gas and Electric Co. (now Vectren Corporation). Nancy is a graduate of the University of Southern Indiana and the Economic Development Institute. She is a member of the International Economic Development Council, Indiana Economic Development Association, and the Council for Community and Economic Research.
Sabrina came to the Economic Development Coalition of Southwest Indiana in December 2008. Previously, she served as office coordinator for the General Board of Higher Education and Ministry. She has held administrative and management positions in the publishing, multimedia, and music recording industries. Sabrina is a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University.
Karen joined the Economic Development Coalition of Southwest Indiana in February 2012. Previously, she held the position of Administrative Assistant-Executive Offices for United Companies. She is actively involved with the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP) in Evansville and has served as an officer and on several committees. Karen graduated from the University of Southern Indiana with a degree in business.
